Slow Day

not much going on in the shop for now, we are setting up for 4-H lambs and the wife is working on a new piority list for me. somehow i dont think that the kayak will make it to the top of that list.

Here is the purple ribbon winner from the 4-H achievement days, the B-man did a real nice job on it.

State Fair Update

the B-man did well at the state fair, his boot box got a blue ribbon and the Jungle puzzle got the Purple! Way to Go B-man! he really put in the time on these projects. And the prairie maggots? can i interest you in a recipe for rack of lamb?

Important Lessons

Ok, important lesson number 1, polyurethane will never dry as fast at it needs to. the weather will always be 526% humidity for three days before achievement days.

Achevment Days....


is fast approaching, and the workshop is humming with the sound of air compressors, sanders and a few choice adult words thrown in with a smashed thumb.....
here is the B-man working diligently on one project. he is refinishing a 4-H box that his mother used for her projects some 25 years ago....
